Supply Teacher – Primary Schools across Poole
GSL Education are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for enthusiastic and adaptable Supply Teacher to work across a variety of welcoming and inclusive mainstream primary schools in Poole. This flexible role is available for an immediate start and is ideal for both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced educators seeking short-term or longer-term placements.
Responsibilities of a Supply Teacher:
Deliver engaging and effective lessons across EYFS, KS1, and KS2, following school-provided plans or adapting your own where necessary.
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports all learners.
Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies and expectations.
Maintain accurate records of student progress and report back to school staff as required.
Be a reliable and professional presence, ready to step into a variety of school settings.
Required Qualifications for a Supply Teacher:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
A passion for teaching and supporting children’s learning and development.
Flexibility and confidence to teach across different year groups and school environments.
Strong communication and classroom management skills.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
An up-to-date CV (covering the last ten years with no unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
