Experienced Teaching Assistants Needed - Special Schools & Alternative Provisions🌟
Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant with a background in supporting pupils with complex needs and challenging behaviour?
We are looking for resilient, skilled, and compassionate TA's to join our team, supporting special schools and alternative provisions across Birmingham. We are seeking those ideally available on a full-time basis for both daily supply and long-term opportunities.
The role will involve:
🔹 Supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, including SEMH, ASD, ADHD, SLD, PMLD, MLD, and complex learning needs
🔹 Working 1:1 and in small groups to provide tailored support
🔹 Assisting teachers in delivering engaging and accessible lessons
🔹 Managing behaviour positively, with patience and consistency
🔹 Helping to create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment
What we're looking for:
✔ Previous experience supporting children with complex needs and/or challenging behaviour in a special setting or alternative provision
✔ A calm, adaptable, and proactive approach
✔ Strong communication and relationship-building skills
✔ Resilience and passion for supporting young people to achieve their best
