About the Role: What You'll Do As a Key Stage 1 and/or Key Stage 2 Teacher, you'll be instrumental in shaping young minds. Your responsibilities will include: Teaching & Learning Plan and deliver engaging, creative, and differentiated lessons across the full primary curriculum (English, Maths, Science, and Foundation subjects), ensuring every child's needs are met. Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment where all children feel valued and supported. Utilize a range of interactive teaching strategies, including practical activities and technology, to promote active learning and high student engagement.Assessment & Progress Regularly assess and track student progress using various methods to inform your teaching and adapt lesson plans to individual needs. Provide constructive, formative feedback and set clear targets to help students achieve their personal and academic goals.Classroom Management Establish clear and consistent rules to promote a positive learning environment. Implement effective behaviour management strategies for a productive, respectful, and safe classroom. Foster positive relationships with students, supporting their social and emotional development alongside academic progress.Collaboration & Teamwork Work collaboratively with colleagues on cross-curricular activities and share best practices. Actively participate in school meetings, training, and planning sessions. Maintain open communication with parents and carers regarding student progress and school events.Personal Development Commit to continuous professional development, attending relevant training and staying updated on the latest educational trends and strategies.What We're Looking For: Your Skills & Experience Qualifications A recognised UK teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent) is essential. ECTs are welcome to apply!Experience Experience teaching in Key Stage 1 and/or Key Stage 2, preferably in a primary school setting. A strong understanding of the Key Stage 1 and 2 curriculum, including phonics, early literacy, and numeracy. Experience working with children with a range of learning needs, including SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities).Skills & Attributes Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive, inclusive environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, parents, and colleagues. A creative, enthusiastic, and nurturing approach to teaching, with a passion for helping children succeed. Strong organisational and time-management skills. Ability to assess, monitor progress, and differentiate teaching methods effectively.
