About the Role and Key Responsibilities
TailorEDucation is seeking a passionate and qualified Teacher of IT and Computing to join one of our valued partner secondary schools in the Medway area from January 2026.
As a specialist in IT and Computing, you will play a key role in inspiring students to develop digital literacy, computational thinking, and technical problem-solving skills. You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging, well-structured lessons that align with the national curriculum, fostering curiosity and confidence in students of all abilities.
You will also:
Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports academic and personal growth.
Use a range of teaching methods and technologies to enhance student engagement.
Assess, track, and report on student progress effectively.
Maintain excellent classroom management and uphold high standards of learning behaviour.

The Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate will have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
Specialist experience and knowledge in IT and Computing, ideally with a background in delivering GCSE and/or A-Level Computing or ICT.
Proven experience teaching within a UK secondary school setting.
Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
A genuine passion for technology and education, with the ability to motivate and inspire learners.
Strong planning, organisational, and communication skills.
Ideally, be based locally in the Medway area or willing to commute.
