Immediate and September Start Available - Science Teaching Opportunity

Teacher of Science required in Chesham. 

KS3/4 General Science teaching role with immediate start option available.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Teacher of Science to join a secondary academy in Chesham. The school is looking to appoint a motivated Science specialist who can inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4. Both immediate and September start dates are available.

This role would suit an educator who enjoys teaching across Biology, Chemistry and Physics within a general Science timetable. You'll be joining a department committed to developing curiosity, practical skills and scientific understanding among students.

Key Duties

Deliver General Science lessons (KS3/4)
Prepare engaging classroom activities and practical investigations
Assess, record and report on student progress
Support students of varying abilities to achieve their potential
Work collaboratively with colleagues within the Science department 

The Successful Applicant Will Have

QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
Experience teaching Science in a secondary setting
Strong behaviour management skills
Excellent subject knowledge
A commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing
