Sociology Teacher - Warwickshire Start: Next Term Daily Rate: £189-£249 per day Contract: Long-term (Two Terms - Maternity Cover) School Type: 11-18 Mixed Comprehensive An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and committed Sociology Teacher to join a well-resourced and highly supportive Secondary School in Warwickshire. This long-term maternity cover position begins next term, working within an experienced and high-performing Social Science Department. About the School Our client is an oversubscribed 11-18 mixed comprehensive school with an excellent reputation in the local area. The school prides itself on superb facilities, a strong sense of community, and a forward-thinking approach to teaching and learning. The Role We are seeking an inspirational and hardworking Teacher of Sociology to deliver high-quality teaching across Key Stage 4 (GCSE) and Key Stage 5 (A-Level). This role is suitable for both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced practitioners. You will be joining a supportive and popular department with excellent resources, contributing to a culture of high achievement and academic excellence. The ability to offer Psychology or Health & Social Care is advantageous, though not essential. Candidate Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS) Overseas Trained Teachers with verified UK NARIC qualifications are welcome to apply Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Sociology Ability to motivate, challenge and inspire students Commitment to maintaining the school's high standards of teaching and learning A positive contribution to an ambitious and progressive Social Science Department Why Work With Us?
