Teaching Assistant - ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) Specialist - Northampton

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking passionate and skilled Teaching Assistants with experience supporting pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) to work across our partner schools in Northampton. Role Overview:

Support students with ASD in both mainstream and specialist settings.

Encourage positive social interaction, emotional regulation, and communication.

Implement individual education plans (IEPs) and behaviour support strategies.

Collaborate with SENCOs, teachers, and therapists to support holistic development.

What We're Looking For:

Experience working with children or young people with ASD.

Understanding of sensory processing and communication challenges.

Resilient, nurturing, and flexible approach to supporting learning.

Good understanding of safeguarding and child protection.

Ability to commit to full-time hours across the academic year.
