The Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will support the class teacher in delivering lessons and providing tailored support for students. Your responsibilities will include:
Assisting with lesson delivery and supporting pupils both in groups and 1:1
Helping with the preparation of classroom resources and activities
Supporting students with their academic and social development, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
Monitoring students' progress and providing feedback to the teacher
Contributing to a positive and inclusive learning environment
Assisting with classroom displays, activities, and maintaining a well-organized classroom
Providing support to students outside of lessons, such as during playtimes and lunch breaks
What We're Looking For:
Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
Experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school setting
A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach to working with children
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to support children's individual learning needs and adapt to different learning styles
Experience with Special Educational Needs (SEN) is an advantage but not essential
A passion for helping children succeed and make progress in their learning
