SEND Teaching Assistant – Wolverhampton 
  Location: Wolverhampton
  Pay: £444–£455 per week
  Hours: Full-time

 ABC Teachers is seeking dedicated and caring SEND Teaching Assistants to join welcoming and inclusive specialist schools across Wolverhampton. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference every day in a supportive environment that values teamwork and professional growth. 

Your Role

Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with a range of needs, including autism and complex learning difficulties

Assist teachers in adapting lessons and delivering engaging, personalised learning activities

Support pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development in a nurturing classroom setting

Help maintain a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment

✅ What We’re Looking For

Experience supporting children or young people with SEND (in school, care, or community settings)

A patient, flexible, and proactive approach to learning and behaviour

Strong communication and relationship-building skills 

A genuine passion for helping young people reach their full potential

Able to provide professional references and hold a valid enhanced DBS
