Teaching Assistant
Location: Nottingham, Clifton (NG11)
Pay: £100 - £110 per day
Hours: Full time, Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm
Start Date: Asap or January 2026
Contract: Long-term to permanent
About the Role
We're recruiting a Teaching Assistant to support a mainstream secondary school in Nottingham. The school is Ofsted "Good" and offers a calm, supportive environment with strong pastoral systems.
You'll help students stay focused, confident and engaged in lessons, while offering general classroom support across a range of subjects.
Key Responsibilities
Provide 1:1 learning and behaviour support
Help students regulate emotions, follow routines and stay engaged
Support confidence, independence and positive relationships
Assist teachers with classroom tasks and learning activities
Work closely with teachers and pastoral staff to monitor progress
Requirements
Experience supporting young people (school, SEN or behaviour roles desirable)
Confident managing behaviour calmly
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Patient, positive and reliable approach
Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
