TeacherActive is proud to be working with a friendly and supportive Primary School in Whitley Bay. The school is committed to creating a positive learning environment where children are encouraged to develop confidence, resilience, and a love of learning, supported by a dedicated and experienced staff team.
The school is looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant on a temporary basis with an ASAP start. The successful Teaching Assistant will work closely with class teachers to support pupils across the Primary age range, provide small group and one-to-one interventions, and help create an engaging and inclusive classroom environment where all children can succeed.
The successful Teaching Assistant will have:
• Previous experience working within a Primary School setting
• A relevant Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
• Good behaviour management skills
• A proactive and flexible approach to supporting learning
