Technical Incoming Inspector - Belfast Location: Belfast (on-site) Hours: 36 hours per week (4.5 days, flexible between 7am-7pm) Pay: £23.84/hr (PAYE) or £31.90/hr (Umbrella) Security Clearance: BPSS+ (arranged by employer) About the Role Are you passionate about quality and precision? Join our dynamic Supply Chain Operations team as a Technical Incoming Inspector at our Belfast site. You'll play a vital role in ensuring our products meet the highest standards, supporting both our team and our customers. What You'll Do Carry out inspection, quality control, and quality assurance activities to ensure products meet design specifications and regulatory requirements. Provide guidance and support to operators, fostering a collaborative and knowledgeable work environment. Monitor the Delegated Operator Scheme, ensuring compliance and best practice. Work flexibly within teams to achieve shared goals. Prepare clear technical reports to highlight and resolve any drawing, process, or tooling issues. Champion continuous improvement and uphold our commitment to excellence.What We're Looking For Essential: Completion of a recognised electrical or mechanical apprenticeship. At least 2 years' relevant post-apprenticeship experience in an electrical aerospace, manufacturing, assembly, or tooling environment. Familiarity with quality control requirements and the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications. Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach. Understanding of manufacturing and assembly practices, requirements, and standards.Desirable: ONC, A Levels, or equivalent qualifications. Knowledge of 3D metrology.Why Join Us?
