We’re looking for a Threat Defence and Cyber Security Operations - Threat Intelligence Lead. Based at our Paddington site, you’ll build on the existing URENCO capabilities to further develop the Threat Intelligence function within the Threat Defence and Cyber Security Operations Team.  We’re looking for a motivated and experienced individual who wants to join a high performing team and be a part of and influence a transformational journey. This role reports to the Head of Threat Defence and Cyber Security Operations and is based full time/Hybrid at Paddington or Capenhurst with a minimum of 2 days a week working in the office times/days to be agreed with LM under direction of Head of Threat Defence and Cyber Security Operations.  When on sites this role will also work very closely with the local Information Security Managers reporting locally for H&S site requirements. Successful candidates will be required to achieve and maintain SC clearance. Potential for DV clearance at a later date. What you’ll do: Assist in shaping the Threat Defence and Cyber Security Operations Strategy to enhance the current capabilities.  Build and deliver the services in the strategy through a combination of in house and outsourced service providers. Develop, lead and manage Threat Intelligence services including: Manage and conduct investigations into External landscape, threats and any impact to the organisation with regards to Cyber Security Managing All TI sources including Dark Web, credential monitoring & Alerting Manage and conduct Brand Protection Mange and conduct Threat Intelligence Reporting Mange and conduct Information Sharing Mange working with MSSP to support TI services and tool integration Revise and develop processes and tooling to strengthen the current Threat Intelligence services, review policies and highlight the challenges that may impact the organisation from an external risk. Build relationships with other organisations across the civil nuclear sector for Threat Intelligence information sharing Co-ordination with stakeholders, build and maintain positive working relationships with them. Including: Perform threat management, threat modelling, identify threat vectors and develop use cases for security monitoring with the wider CISO team Support Cyber Security incident response process Support Vulnerability Management Process Support RFI for wider stakeholders What do you need to thrive in this role? Knowledge of security concepts such as cyber-attacks and techniques, threat vectors, risk management, incident management etc Experience in threat management Knowledge of various operating system flavors including but not limited to Windows, Linux, Unix Knowledge of applications, databases, middleware to address security threats against the same Experience in delivering a threat intelligence function and working with information security, especially Computer Incident Response Team (CIRT), Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT), Computer Security Incident Response Centre (CSIRC) or a Security Operations Centre (SOC) Demonstrable experience of supporting the development and delivering of a cyber defence strategy Demonstratable experience of building deliverables, reporting and metrics around Threat Intelligence functions Knowledge of cloud security concepts and tools assessing cloud-based vulnerabilities Proficient in preparation of reports, dashboards and documentation Excellent communication and leadership skills What can you expect from us?
