Training Advisor
Reporting to: Appreticeship Lead
Accountable to: Business Manager
Special Conditions: Must be car owner and willing to travel as part of role – Appropriate Car Insurance required.

Training Advisor Core Activities
* Conduct Learner ON-BOARDING Meetings (Apprenticeship Programme).
*
Deliver training and assessment to all learners (Apprenticeship and/or AEB) supporting them through their training programmes including the embedding of Maths and English throughout.
*
Mandatory face to face meetings with learners/employers. As a minimum these should be conducted at the milestones of the Curriculum (Apprenticeship provision) and at minimum twice during the delivery of Diploma only learning (AEB provision).
*
Deliver Core Themes in a timely and effective manner in line with the Curriculum Plan
*
Ensure Employer Engagement is maintained and documented throughout the learning journey.
*
Develop learners ‘s knowledge, skills and behaviours required for their programme of learning.
*
Effectively manage a caseload of learners, to ensure progress against Curriculum plan is maintained.
*
Participate in monthly support meetings with Curriculum Lead
*
Identify learners who are potentially at risk of falling behind in their programme of learning and adapt the Curriculum Plan / Training Plans effectively to bring learner back on track.
*
Identify At Risk Learners and work with Curriculum Leads to minimise Risk to business
*
Maintain all records of learner progress and participation – (including but not limited to) Monthly Reviews, Off the Job Training Logs, Learner work on ICQ. Ensuring Intent, Implementation and Impact is fully documented throughout reviews and the Quality of review / OTJL content meets ESFA/Ofsted requirements.

Ensure all supporting evidence is promptly marked/assessed and constructive feedback is provided to learner and employer.
*
Where applicable – ensure the Speaking and Listening element of Functional Skills English is completed in a timely fashion.
*
Effectively use the ICQ platform.
*
Manage and maintain Outlook calendar
General

Participate in Standardisation Meetings as and when required
*
Participate in Sector Specific Training Meetings as and when required
*
Ensure CPD log are current and up to date and are uploaded to ICQ on a monthly basis.
*
Any other duties as required in the role.
You have a responsibility to:

Provide information and data to the Education and Training Manager to support the production of the annual SAR and QIP.
*
Actively participate in the preparation for OFSTED, MATRIX and any other ESFA Audits.
*
Support SCT in safeguarding any child, young person or adult you come into contact with in your daily role through your understanding of all relevant SCT policies and procedures.
*
Promote British Values, including equality and to treat everyone with fairness and dignity.
*
Recognise that health and safety is a responsibility of every employee, to take reasonable care of self and others and comply with all Health and Safety policies and procedures.
