Job Description
We are looking for a Transport Coordinator/Transport Admin for our client based in Tameside around the Denton area. Working in a busy transport office you will be dealing with drivers and customers to ensure seamless delivery of our clients services
The Operations Coordinator will be responsible for supporting various administrative functions and facilitating communication across departments.
Flexibility is a must for this role, as hours may extend beyond the usual depending upon day to day activities or unforeseen circumstances
Duties
Daily Routing/Routes optimisation
Driver communication/phone calls and texts
Daily communication between Head office & the depot
Maintain a friendly, professional tone at all times
Planning of large contract roll-outsSkills
Proficient in data entry with a high level of accuracy.
Strong administrative skills with experience in a transport environment
Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills for effective interaction with clients and colleagues.
Familiarity with computerised systems and software applications, including MS Office
Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
Capable of working independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Attention to detail is essential for maintaining accurate records and documentation.
