About the Role
Our Felixstowe-based client is seeking a highly experienced Transport Operator to join their dynamic logistics team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual with a strong background in container transport operations to play a key role in a fast-paced and growing business.
Key Responsibilities

Coordinate and manage daily container transport operations across UK ports and distribution hubs
*
Liaise with drivers, clients, and internal teams to ensure timely and efficient deliveries
*
Monitor transport schedules, resolve delays, and optimize routing for cost-effectiveness
*
Maintain compliance with transport regulations and company policies
*
Use transport management systems to track shipments and update records accurately
*
Support continuous improvement initiatives in logistics and fleet performance
Requirements
*
Proven experience in container transport operations (essential)
*
Strong knowledge of UK port systems and haulage logistics
*
Excellent communication and organizational skills
*
Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities
*
Proficiency in transport management software and Microsoft Office
*
Full UK driving licence
