Transport Planning Supervisor
Huddersfield
£35,000 - £38,000 per annum
Monday – Friday, Days - 37.5 Hours per week
I’m currently recruiting for an experienced Transport Planning Supervisor to join a leading Fuel distributor who specialise within UK wide commercial petrochemical distribution.

The Candidate;
Proven experience in transport planning leadership position
ADR / Tanker route planning experience is highly desirable
Solid understanding of EU Drivers’ Hours Regulations and Working Time Directive.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Excellent geographical knowledge and attention to detail.
Leadership capabilities with a talent for coaching and motivating teams.
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
Excellent people management and communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
Duties and Responsibilities;
Oversee and review daily driver plans to maximise legal shift availability and resource use.
Investigate and report on customer service issues, identifying root causes and corrective actions.
Act as the primary point of contact for bitumen, emulsion, and fuel oil clients, ensuring prompt resolution of delivery concerns.
Monitor team performance, conduct annual reviews, and support ongoing development and coverage for holidays and absences.
