Vehicle Service Technician
Location: Telford
Salary: £28,000 – £34,000 (dependent on experience) + £400/month sustainable bonus
Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm, 1 in 3 Saturday mornings (paid at overtime rate)We’re currently recruiting for a Vehicle Service Technician to join our experienced workshop team in Telford. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a well-established, supportive business that values its people and invests in their future. You’ll be responsible for delivering high-quality servicing and repairs, with training and development provided to help you progress in your career.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out routine servicing, maintenance, and mechanical repairs across a wide range of vehicles
Diagnose and troubleshoot faults using modern diagnostic tools
Conduct thorough safety checks and road tests to ensure all work meets required standards
Liaise closely with the workshop and service teams to deliver excellent customer experiences
Complete relevant documentation and service records accurately
Ensure all work is carried out safely and efficiently, maintaining a clean and organised workspaceAbout You:
Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent experience)
Minimum 2 years’ experience as a technician in a workshop environment
Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding abilities
Good attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship
Able to work both independently and as part of a team
Full UK driving licence required
Level 2 qualification also considered with relevant hands-on experienceWhat’s on Offer:
