Vehicle Technician Required

  * 

    Independent Garage based in Godstone

  * 

    Circa £40k Starting Basic Salary

  * 

    Hours: Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.30pm

  *

Our client, a well-respected independent garage located in the charming town of South Godstone is seeking a dedicated and skilled Vehicle Technician. This dynamic team is passionate about providing exceptional automotive services to their valued customers, and they pride themselves on their professionalism and expertise. Key Responsibilities:

  * 

    Diagnosing and repairing various automotive faults to ensure vehicles are operating at optimal performance.

    Performing routine maintenance and servicing that includes oil changes, tire rotations, brakes inspections, and engine tune-ups.

    Conducting thorough vehicle inspections and documenting findings for clients and record-keeping.

  * 

    Utilizing diagnostic equipment and tools to identify mechanical and electrical problems accurately.

  * 

    Maintaining a clean and organized workshop environment while adhering to safety standards and protocols.

  * 

    Providing exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients about vehicle condition and necessary repairs.

Skills & Experience Required:

  * 

    Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or similar role within the automotive industry.

  * 

    Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure.

  * 

    Knowledge of vehicle systems and components, with a commitment to continual learning and improvement.

  * 

    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with clients and team members.

  * 

    Relevant qualifications and certifications in automotive technology or mechanics.

  * 

    A reliable and positive attitude, with a genuine passion for automotive work.
