Job Description

An exciting opportunity has become available for an Automotive Vehicle Technician/Vehicle Mechanic within a Main Car Dealer located in Basildon.

Our Automotive Client has a need for a Vehicle Technician or Vehicle Mechanic who is motivated and able to work to their own initiative.

Benefits:

Basic Salary Ranges up to £35,00.00 basic p.a.
Bonus Opportunity OTE up to £50,000.00 depending on your efficiency.
28 days holiday including Bank Holidays.

Free on-site parkingDuties:

Carrying out Servicing and Repairs to a variety of Vehicles
Performing Diagnostic Testing to identify Vehicle Faults.
Ensuring that paperwork is completed to the highest of standardsRequirements:

A professional and stable track record as a Vehicle Technician.
NVQ/City & Guilds certifications required (Equivalent certifications can be accepted to a level 3 standard).
Hold a valid UK manual driving license with no more than 3 points
Ability to provide a friendly customer service and always maintain a professional appearance.
Flexible and willing to learn and adapt to new responsibilities.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to use the diagnostic equipment
MOT Tester would be an advantage but not essential.
You must hold a UK manual driving licence with no more than 3 points.The salary of this role is up to £35,000 basic with OTE of £50,000.

Hours of work for this Vehicle Technician role are Monday to Friday 8.00am to 6.00pm and 1 in 3 Saturdays worked 8.00am-1.00pm.
