Vehicle Technician Required in Carmarthen
Our client, a reputable franchise-approved car dealership group operating throughout South West Wales, is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join their busy Carmarthen dealership. This opportunity is ideal for experienced professionals committed to delivering high-quality service and repairs. As a Vehicle Technician, you will play a vital role in maintaining the dealership’s standards by diagnosing and rectifying vehicle faults efficiently and accurately.
Benefits for the successful Vehicle Technician:
* Up to £35,000 per annum salary, depending on experience
* Performance-related bonus scheme worth up to £(phone number removed) annually
* Paid overtime at 1.25x rate
* Increasing holiday entitlement, starting at 20 days plus bank holidays, increasing after 5 years to 23 days

* Regular working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am-5:30pm and 1 in 3 Saturdays, 8:30am-1:00pm, paid at enhanced rate
Duties:
* Conduct fault diagnosis, servicing, and repairs to manufacturer standards
* Accurately identify vehicle faults and report findings to the Service Manager
* Maintain full adherence to quality procedures laid out by both the client and vehicle manufacturers
* Ensure all work is completed within safety and safety compliance standards
* Complete vehicle servicing and repairs promptly, contributing to high customer satisfaction levels
* Work effectively as part of a team in a high-demand dealership environment
* Assist in maintaining efficient workshop operations and achieving team targets
Requirements:
* NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification as a minimum
* At least 1-2 years’ practical experience as a Vehicle Technician
* Full UK driving licence with minimal points
* Ability to produce high-quality workmanship consistently
* Strong diagnostic skills and technical knowledge
* Motivated with a professional attitude and excellent team spirit
* Residing in, or within reasonable commuting distance to, Carmarthen
