Job Description
Are you an experienced Vehicle Technician seeking a new opportunity in Grantham? Our client, a reputable franchise dealership, is looking to recruit a skilled Vehicle Technician to join their dedicated workshop team. This is an excellent chance to work within a stable and well-established organisation that values technical expertise and professionalism.

Basic salary of up to £36,000, with an actual OTE of approximately £45,000
45 hours per week, offering a structured working schedule

Generous holiday allowance and employee benefits packageDuties of the Vehicle Technician:
Conduct a comprehensive range of mechanical repairs and servicing on a variety of vehicle makes and models
Diagnose vehicle faults accurately and efficiently
Keep detailed repair records and ensure all work complies with manufacturer standards
Guide and mentor junior technicians and apprentices when required
Assist in maintaining the workshop’s high standards of safety, cleanliness, and productivity
Perform MOT testing (desirable but not essential)
Keep up-to-date with the latest automotive technology and repair techniquesRequirements:
Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or an equivalent qualification
Previous experience working as a Vehicle Technician in a main dealer or independent garage
Valid MOT licence is desirable but not essential
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong diagnostic skills and attention to detail
