Our client, a reputable Main Dealer in the Grantham area, is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional with proven experience in vehicle repair and maintenance to work within a well-established franchise. The Vehicle Technician role offers competitive remuneration, ongoing training, and opportunities for career development.
Benefits of a Vehicle Technician:
Basic salary up to £42,000, depending on experience
OTE £48,000 with bonus and overtime opportunities
Salary packages tailored to all skill levels
Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, with 1 in 3 Saturdays
Access to full manufacturer training programmes
Stable working environment with a reputable dealership
Opportunities for professional growth within a leading franchiseDuties of a Vehicle Technician:
Repair and service vehicles to manufacturer standards
Conduct diagnostic checks and identify faults
Liaise effectively with service advisors, customers, and management
Complete safety inspections adherence to DVSA standards
Perform general vehicle maintenance and repairs
Deliver exceptional customer service at all times
Ensure work is completed efficiently and to a high standard
Assist in other vehicle-related tasks as requiredRequirements of a Vehicle Technician:
Relevant formal qualification in Automotive City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
Current experience as a Vehicle Technician
Own set of tools
Full UK driving licence
MOT licence desirable but not essential
Excellent communication skills and a professional approach
