Job Description

Vehicle Technician
Our client, a reputable multi-franchise approved car dealership based in Tewkesbury, is seeking a skilled and experienced Vehicle Technician to join their busy Service Department.
This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional to develop their career within a well-established dealership group committed to quality and customer satisfaction.

  * Monday to Friday working hours, 8:30am to 5:00pm, with 1 in 2 Saturdays 8:30am to 12:30pm (paid as overtime)
Duties of a Vehicle Technician:
  * Carrying out fault diagnosis, servicing, and repairs on vehicles in line with manufacturer standards
  * Accurately diagnosing faults and reporting vehicle conditions, safety, and performance issues to the Workshop Controller
  * Adhering to quality procedures and safety protocols at all times
  * Ensuring efficient workflow within the workshop to meet targets
  * Maintaining high standards of workmanship and completing documentation thoroughly
  * Assisting with additional technical tasks as required by the Service Department
Requirements of a Vehicle Technician:
  * IMI/NVQ Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent
  * 1-2 years of post-qualification experience in a workshop environment preferred
  * Full UK driving licence with minimal points
  * A team player with a proactive attitude and strong work ethic
  * Ability to produce high-quality work consistently in a busy franchise environment
  * MOT Smart Card is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided
