An exceptional opportunity for an experienced Vehicle Technician has arisen with a reputable main dealer in Kidderminster. Our client is seeking a skilled professional to join their well-established workshop team. The Vehicle Technician role offers a motivating salaried package, manufacturer training, and clear pathways for career development.
 
Benefits:

Up to £36,000 basic salary (DOE)
Realistic OTE of £40,000

Holiday entitlement starting at 22 days plus bank holidays, increasing with service length
Paid overtime at time and a half (1 in 4 Saturdays)
Supportive, professional working environmentDuties:

Service, maintain, and repair a broad range of vehicles, ensuring high standards of quality and safety
Conduct diagnostics and fault finding to identify issues accurately
Complete larger mechanical repairs, such as wet belts and major components, as required
Perform vehicle health checks and report additional work needed
Work efficiently to meet workshop productivity targets
Keep accurate records of all work performed, adhering to manufacturer standards
Maintain a clean and organised workshop environmentRequirements Of A Vehicle Technician:

Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (essential)
Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician within a main dealer or busy workshop environment
MOT Tester licence (desirable, or willing to obtain)
Confidence with more complex mechanical repairs preferable
Strong team player with the ability to work independently
