Toolbox insurance for peace of mind.Duties of the Vehicle Technician:
Service, repair, and adjust vehicles to manufacturer standards, ensuring high-quality workmanship.
Conduct diagnostics and fault analysis using recognised test procedures.
Road test vehicles, where necessary, to confirm and verify repairs.
Observe, identify, and report on any vehicle defects or potential issues.
Reassemble, recharge, and document components accurately, with proper cost estimation.
Maintain and update technical records and service reports.
Support ongoing training initiatives, including Electric Vehicle (EV) maintenance.Requirements:
NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Mechanics, City & Guilds, or equivalent qualification.
Proven experience working on light commercial vehicles and transit vans.
MOT testing qualification is highly desirable.
Full UK driving licence and own tools.
Minimum two years’ experience in a main dealership environment.
Competence to perform diagnostics and repairs to manufacturer standards.
