Permanent night shift LCV Technician role near Caerphilly. £19 per hour plus overtime. Work on gas and electric light commercial vehicles with training and progression.

Location: Caerphilly

Salary: £19 per hour

Hours: Nights, 10pm to 6am

Job Type: Permanent, Full Time

Overtime: Paid at time and a half

Key responsibilities of LCV Technician / Vehicle Technician / Van Techanican / Van Mechanic: 

Perform diagnostic, mechanical and electrical repairs on LCVs
Carry out routine servicing and maintenance to high industry standards
Use computer-aided diagnostic tools (training provided if needed)
Ensure health and safety compliance at all times
Complete accurate job records and communicate effectively with the team
Skills and experience required for LCV Technician / Vehicle Technician / Van Techanican / Van Mechanic: 

Essential

Proven experience working as an LCV Technician / Vehicle Technician / Van Techanican / Van Mechanic or Light Commercial Vehicle Mechanic
Strong mechanical, electrical and diagnostic fault-finding skills
Good understanding of LCV servicing and repairs
Committed to health and safety practices
Willingness to learn and train on latest technologies, including electric vehicles
Desirable

Relevant vocational qualifications (e.g. IMI, City & Guilds)
Experience working in a main dealer or commercial fleet workshop
Class C (or higher) driving licence
