Job Description
We are working with a growing manufacturing business who are looking to appoint a Fabricator Welder. As Fabricator Welder you will be responsible for the fabrication and welding of metal components to support production requirements. This role suits someone with strong attention to detail, a commitment to quality, and experience working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Roles & Responsibilities
Perform MIG welding on mild steel components to a high standard
Read and interpret engineering drawings, sketches, and work instructions
Fabricate parts using cutting, grinding, drilling, and forming tools
Carry out quality checks to ensure all work meets required specifications
Operate workshop machinery and hand tools safely
Assist with assembly of fabricated components when required
Maintain a clean, safe working environment in line with company policies
Work effectively as part of a production team to meet deadlines
Skills & Experience
Proven experience in MIG welding within a fabrication or manufacturing setting
Ability to read and understand technical drawings
Skilled in using fabrication tools and workshop machinery
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
Good awareness of health & safety practices
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Additional welding skills (TIG, stick) are beneficial but not essentialBefore You Apply
