Job Description
An established, family-run engineering company on the outskirts of Thetford, Norfolk is looking for an experienced Welder to join their growing team. Due to a continued increase in orders, they are expanding and seeking a skilled fabricator with MIG or TIG welding experience. This is a great opportunity to join a supportive business working on a range of high-quality products.
Welder Duties:
MIG and/or TIG welding of stainless steel, mild steel, and aluminium
Assembling fabricated products such as access ramps, handrails, and platforms
Welding materials ranging from 0.9mm to 5mm thick
Reading and interpreting technical drawings
Supporting general fabrication and prep workPay, Hours & Benefits:
£13.50 - £15.00 per hour depending on experience
Monday to Thursday: 07:00 - 16:30, with an early finish on Fridays
Overtime paid at 1.5x after 40 hours worked
Long-term opportunity with immediate start availableWe're looking for someone confident with MIG or TIG welding, who can read technical drawings and work independently within a fabrication environment.
