Job Description
Yard Operative / Forklift Operator / Workshop Assistant - Stratford upon Avon
Pay: £13/hr for the first 39 hours, £19.50/hr thereafter
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-6:00pm (paid 9.5hrs/day)
Alecto Recruitment is looking for Yard Operatives, Forklift Drivers, Workshop Assistants, Plant Operatives, and General Labourers to join a busy Stratford upon Avon team. This is a hands-on role supporting multiple departments, equipment handling, and yard operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate forklifts, telehandlers, and other machinery safely
Load/unload vehicles, check delivery notes, and photograph equipment
Wash, clean, and prep plant machinery and equipment
Assist in the workshop with paint and prep duties
Maintain a tidy, organised yard and workspaces
Requirements:
Experience in yard work, plant handling, forklift operation, or workshop assistance preferred but not essential
Reliable, hands-on, and flexible team player
Strong attention to health & safety
