A Headteacher at a warm and nurturing primary school in Preston is looking for a dedicated Year 1/2 Teacher to join their team as soon as possible on a permanent basis. The school provides consistency, clear boundaries and a safe, calm environment where pupils feel settled and able to thrive. Experienced or confident working with pupils with behavioural or SEMH needs

Skilled in de-escalation and maintaining a calm, consistent approach

Child-centred, nurturing and able to build positive, trusting relationships

Adaptable, resilient and emotionally robust

Skilled in delivering differentiated and personalised learning to meet EHCP targets
*
Confident in EYFS practice and able to apply it to early primary learners
*
A clear and confident communicator with staff, parents and external professionals
