We, Academics, are looking for a suitable candidate to support as a Year 2 Teacher for one of our well-respected schools in the Birmingham, B14 area. This Year 2 Teacher opportunity starts in September 2026 and is a fixed-2 term contract, which is ideal for teachers seeking a full-time temporary position.
Key responsibilities of a Year 2 Teacher include:
Provide and encourage a safe and inclusive environment for pupils
Plan and deliver quality lessons relevant to the national curriculum
Ensure that teaching and lesson plans are adaptable for children with SEND
Work in collaboration with a range of individuals, including colleagues and parents, to ensure the best outcomes for pupils
To monitor and assess pupils developmentRequirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
A great and relevant understanding of the Key Stage 1 curriculum
Enhanced DBS (must be on the update service)
