We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 4 Primary Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in Bolton. This is a full-time maternity cover role beginning in January and running through to December.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching, creating an engaging classroom environment, and supporting the progress and well-being of all pupils in the Year 4 class.
Responsibilities:
Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons in line with the Year 4 curriculum
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Track pupil progress and provide effective feedback
Work collaboratively with colleagues, teaching assistants, and senior staff
Build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and the wider school community
Maintain high standards of behaviour and safeguarding practice
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching in Key Stage 2 (Year 4 experience desirable)
Strong classroom management skills
A passion for supporting the academic and personal development of pupils
