Job Description
Zest education are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 5 Teacher to join our thriving primary school in Great Barr.
This is a full-time position beginning in April 2026, offering the opportunity to inspire and support pupils as they progress through Key Stage 2.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver engaging lessons that challenge and motivate pupils
* Support children in developing strong literacy, numeracy, and problem-solving skills
* Create a positive classroom environment that fosters curiosity, resilience, and respect
* Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers to ensure pupil progress and wellbeing
* Contribute to the wider life of the school, including extracurricular activities and events
Candidate Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally Year 5
* Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment requirements
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* A genuine passion for teaching and inspiring young learners
