We are currently seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Year 5 Teacher to join a vibrant school in Kensington on a full-time, fixed-term contract starting in September 2025.

The Role:
As a Year 5 Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and high-quality lessons in line with the National Curriculum. You will play a key role in preparing pupils for their final year of primary school, fostering independence, confidence, and a love of learning.
This is a full-time, fixed-term contract role from September 2025 until July 2026, suitable for both experienced teachers and confident ECTs looking to develop their KS2 experience.
Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver effective and creative lessons for Year 5 pupils.

Monitor, assess, and support student progress to ensure high levels of achievement.
*
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports the emotional and academic development of all pupils.
*
Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practices and ensure curriculum continuity.
*
Engage with parents and carers to build strong home-school partnerships.
*
Contribute to the wider school life, including enrichment and extracurricular activities.
What We’re Looking For:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) (required).
*
Experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally in Year 5.
*
A commitment to high standards of teaching, learning, and classroom management.
*
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
*
Enthusiasm, creativity, and a passion for inspiring children to achieve their best.
*
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and contribute positively to school life.
