Afterschool Club Manager – Term-Time Only + Holidays
Location: St Albans
Hours: 20–25 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
Salary: £29,418 FTE (H6 Scale)
Contract: Term Time + 3 Weeks & Inset Days (42 Weeks Total)
Loyal Blue Recruitment is proud to be working on behalf of a warm, welcoming infant and junior school in St Albans to recruit a Wraparound Club Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong leadership skills and a genuine passion for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children.
The Role
As Club Manager, you’ll lead a dedicated team to run the school’s breakfast, after-school, and holiday club provision. You’ll manage staff rotas, activity planning, safeguarding, and parent communication — all with the support of area leadership and school staff.
What You’ll Be Doing

Oversee daily wraparound care operations
*
Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities
*
Lead a team of staff and manage rotas
*
Ensure safeguarding, food safety, and health & safety practices are followed
*
Build warm relationships with families and school staff
*
Maintain accurate records and manage bookings and admin
What We’re Looking For
*
Level 3 childcare qualification (or working towards)
*
Leadership or supervisory experience in a childcare setting
*
Strong organisation and communication skills
*
Understanding of safeguarding and EYFS principles
*
A proactive, reliable, and caring attitude
