Job Description
Are you a skilled Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Engineer looking for a role with variety and fantastic earning potential?
We're seeking a Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Engineer to join a long-standing, supportive team covering mainly Milton Keynes and Northampton areas. You'll enjoy a wide range of work; from servicing air conditioning units and repairing cold rooms to the occasional chiller installation across a mix of local authority and industrial sites, with no working away from home.
The Role:
*
Diagnose and repair air conditioning and refrigeration systems
*
Service equipment such as split systems, VRVs, cold rooms and occasionally chillers
*
Work is planned as locally as possible but the company covers areas from Leeds/Manchester to Kent and will require flexibility/willingness to travel
*
Participate in a 1 in 6 on-call rota (calls are rare, and frequency will be reduced with a new addition in the team)
What You’ll Need:
*
Strong experience in Air Conditioning breakdown and repair
*
F-Gas certification
*
Full UK driving licence
*
Clean DBS
*
Chiller or refrigeration experience is desirable
*
Installation knowledge is a bonus but not essential
Salary & Benefits:
*
£40,000–£45,000 basic salary
*
Typical take-home is much higher with overtime (average of10 hours/week) at time and a half
*

25 days holiday + 1 extra day every 2 years (up to 30)
