Job Description
Evolve Personnel are currently recruiting for a Punch Operator for our manufacturing client in the Telford area.
Duties:
* Operating a Trumpf and Amada punch machines
* Reading and interpreting drawings
* Undertake all aspects of creating part drawings
* Selecting correct tooling for each job
* Working with thin gauge materials typically between 0.7mm to 3.0mm aluminium, stainless steel.
* Working to standard operating procedures
* Responsible for checking quality of parts produced
* Perform other duties as required by Supervisor/Manager
Requirements
* Experienced CNC Punch Operator, ideally with a minimum of 2 years’ experience.
* Experience using Radan software is desirable, although training may be provided to a suitable candidate.
* Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
Hours: Monday – Thursday 8:00am - 4:30pm / Friday 6:00am - 3:00pm
