Mtrec recruitment are proudly representing our specialist manufacturing client in the search for an experienced applications engineer.
The business requires a candidate to collaborate with customers and internal teams to provide viable engineering solutions and services.

The Job you will do:
* Analyse customer technical requirements and specifications to propose suitable solutions.
* Provide technical support and product recommendations and training to internal teams and customers.
* Prepare detailed technical proposals, quotes, and cost analyses for custom and standard applications.
* Assist with the development and maintenance of technical documentation, including manuals, product data sheets, and application notes.
* Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in all solutions provided.
* Support production with engineering guidance as needed for custom orders.
* Troubleshoot application problems and provide technical support to customers.
* Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and other industry events.
* Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and cross-functional project teams.
* Collaborate with R&D and product development teams to enhance existing products and develop new solutions based on market needs.
About you:
* Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related technical field.
* Relevant experience in applications engineering or similar technical support role
* Proficient in CAD software or similar engineering design tools.
* Strong understanding of fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, and mechanical systems.
* Experience with performance testing and analysis is desirable.
* Experience with ERP and CRM systems (e.g. SAP, Salesforce) is desirableBefore You Apply
