A progressive and well-respected secondary school in Bath is seeking a committed and imaginative Early Career Teacher of Art to join its vibrant Creative Arts faculty from September 2025. Role and Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging, well-structured Art lessons across KS3 and KS4, drawing on a wide range of techniques and media
*
Foster a stimulating classroom environment where students are encouraged to explore their ideas and develop technical skills

Plan schemes of work that promote both creativity and rigour, adapting materials to suit learners of all abilities
*
Contribute to departmental enrichment, including exhibitions, workshops, and community art projects

Take part in the ECT programme with the guidance of an experienced mentor
The Ideal Candidate Will Be:
*
A qualified or soon-to-be-qualified teacher of Art (QTS expected by September 2025)
*
Knowledgeable in a wide range of artistic disciplines, from drawing and painting to sculpture or digital art
*
Passionate about inclusive education and able to inspire creativity in diverse learners
*
Collaborative, reflective, and eager to develop within a team of dedicated professionals
*
DBS-checked (or willing to undergo the process prior to appointment)
