👩🏫 About the Role
As an Art Teacher, you will:

Teach Art and Design across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to teach A-Level students, depending on your development and interests.
*
Develop and deliver creative, engaging lessons in a range of art forms, including drawing, painting, sculpture, and digital media.
*
Encourage students to think critically and express themselves through their art, fostering creativity and individuality.
*
Support students’ development through formative feedback, assessments, and constructive guidance in their artistic journey.
*
Contribute to the Art Department’s extracurricular activities, including running art clubs, exhibitions, and other creative projects.
*
Work closely with colleagues to enhance the curriculum and develop new strategies to inspire and motivate students in Art.

We are looking for an ECT who:

Holds or will soon achieve Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a degree in Art, Fine Art, or a related subject.
*
Is passionate about Art and eager to inspire and support students in their artistic development.
*
Has a creative approach to teaching, with the ability to engage students and help them discover their artistic potential.
*
Demonstrates strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive, supportive environment for students.
*
Is willing to learn, grow, and receive feedback as part of their professional development journey as an Art Teacher.

Enjoys working collaboratively as part of a team and contributing to the wider school community.
