The Role:
Position: Art Teacher
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
Location: Sandwell
Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)Your Responsibilities Will Include:
Teaching Art across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 desirable but not essential)
Planning and delivering engaging, innovative, and inclusive lessons
Encouraging students to explore a range of artistic media and techniques
Supporting students in developing their creative expression and portfolio work
Contributing to extracurricular activities such as exhibitions and art clubs
Working collaboratively with colleagues in a supportive and dynamic departmentWhat We're Looking For:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
A relevant degree in Art or a related subject
Previous experience teaching Art in a UK secondary school setting
A passion for the visual arts and for inspiring creativity in young people
Strong classroom management skills and a positive approach to learning
