Tradewind are recruiting! Are you looking for your next role teaching Art in a school located in Tower Hamlets?
Tradewind Recruitment are working in partnership with a high-achieving secondary school in Tower Hamlets to recruit a dedicated and enthusiastic Art Teacher for a full-time position starting in September 2025. This is an exciting opportunity for either an Experienced Teacher or Early Career Teacher (ECT) to join a well-resourced and supportive department in a vibrant school community.
Job Role Requirements:
Deliver engaging and creative Art lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
Develop students' artistic skills and encourage creativity and critical thinking
Use a range of teaching strategies to accommodate varying learning styles
Contribute to the department's curriculum planning and extracurricular activities
Uphold high standards of classroom management and student achievement
Qualifications and Person Specification (French Teacher - KS3 & KS4):
Hold UK QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
Degree in Art or a related subject
Ability to teach Art confidently up to GCSE level
Strong classroom presence and excellent communication skills
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
Passionate about education and student progress
A proactive and reflective practitioner who is committed to continuous improvement
