A passionate and skilled Art Teacher is required for a temporary full-time position at a well-regarded Independent mixed school in Harrow, commencing as soon as possible. Responsibilities
* You will plan and deliver engaging Art lessons that foster creativity, develop technical skills, and encourage students to explore their artistic potential.
* The role involves guiding students through a range of artistic disciplines, including drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking, and digital art.
* You will cultivate a stimulating and inclusive studio environment where every student feels empowered to experiment, take risks, and develop their unique artistic voice.
Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Art and Design is essential.
* Experience teaching engaging and effective Art lessons at Key Stages 3 and 4 is highly desirable.
* A strong understanding of artistic principles, techniques, and art history, coupled with the ability to inspire students of all abilities, is expected.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, alongside strong classroom management and the ability to foster a love of art, are vital.
