Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst
Location: York, North Yorkshire
Salary/Benefits: £25k - £42k + Training & Benefits
We are recruiting on behalf of a national Asbestos company, who have a well-established workforce and growing client portfolio. Due to recently winning new contracts, they are seeking a dual skilled Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst to cover new domestic, commercial and local authority sites. Applicants must be able to demonstrate excellent hands-on experience and must also have a flexible and hardworking attitude. You will be travelling around client sites in: York, Selby, Tadcaster, Castleford, Goole, Malton, Knaresborough, Harrogate, Leeds, Bradford, Beverley, Hull, Willerby, Market Weighton, Pocklington, Wetwang, Thirsk, Driffield, Barton-upon-Humber, Hessle, Bridlington, Sewerby, Eastfield, Hunmanmby, Filey, Pickering, Kirkbymoorside, Scarborough, Whitby, Ravenscar.
Experience / Qualifications:
- Must hold the BOHS P402, P403 & P404 (or RSPH equivalent)
- Will have a strong track record working as an Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst, ideally for a UKAS accredited company
- Good understanding of UKAS and HSG 264 and HSG 248 guidelines
- IT literate
- Able to write detailed reports
- Hardworking attitude
The Role:
- Undertaking the full range of: Management, Refurbishment and Demolition asbestos surveys
- Collecting ACM samples from site for analysis
- Conducting 4 Stage Clearances
- Personal, background, leak and reassurance air testing
- Ensuring removals projects remain compliant with safety and industry guidelines
- Liaising with site operatives and subcontractors
- Meeting with clients to discuss findings and provide project updates
- Writing detailed survey and analytical reports
