As an assistant operations manager, you will be required to:
* Coordinating installation teams across multiple projects
* Assisting with the procurement and management of materials, tools, and equipment
* Monitoring the progress of installations to ensure they meet quality and industry standards
* Communicating with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to provide project updates
* Suppotting the resolution of on-site issues and ensuring adherence to health and safety requirements
* Keeping accurate records, including risk assessments and method statements
* Developing an understanding of different roof types, structural considerations, and installation techniques
The ideal candidate will be:
* A genuine interest in renewable energy, particularly Solar PV and Heat Pump technologies
* Some background in construction, electrical work, or site coordination is an advantage, but not essential
* Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
* Good communication skills and confidence in dealing with a range of stakeholders
* Able to work both independently and as part of a team
