Roselands Resourcing is proud to be partnering with a reputable hospitality venue in Eastbourne for an enthusiastic and driven Assistant Manager to join the leadership team at their prestigious and much loved venue.
About the venue:
We’re a buzzing, fast paced venue known for our top-notch service, amazing homecooked food, legendary live music nights, and fantastic function room events.
Summer is our busiest time, and this premier location is the place to be!
Our team is tight-knit, energetic, and genuinely enjoys working together and we're looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, fun environment.
Full and Part Time positions available (must be able to work evenings, weekends and bank holidays)
What You'll Be Doing as an Assistant Manager:
* Supporting the team in day-to-day operations
* Collaborate with fellow managers to ensure seamless service and consistency day to day
* Leading shifts with confidence and a smile
* Ensuring smooth service during peak times and events
* Motivating and developing our amazing front-of-house team
* Keeping standards sky-high when it comes to customer service, cleanliness, and compliance
* Oversee and manage stock control, including regular stocktakes
* Place and track orders with suppliers to ensure consistent availability
* Monitor and manage wastage to reduce and control costs
* Attend and actively contribute to regular management meetings
* Support compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations
* Work closely with the General Manager to support smooth day-to-day operations
What We're Looking For as an Assistant Manager:
* Availability to work evenings, weekends, and bank holidays (full time or part time)
* Previous experience in a supervisory or assistant manager role (hospitality preferred)
* A love for great service, good food, and live events
* Strong leadership skills with a hands-on approach
* Ability to keep calm under pressure and thrives when it’s busy
* Previous cocktail making experience
