Job Title: Assistant Quantity Surveyor
Location: Deeside
Duration: 6+ months
Pay Rate: Negotiable
Start Date: Asap
Hours: 7am to 5 pm Mon - Fri ( hour unpaid lunch)
We are recruiting for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor for an ongoing contract based in Deeside.
Must have 12-24 months experience within the construction sector in the UK.
Responsibilites:
Assisting with cost planning and budgeting.
Delay reports
Preparing tender documents, contracts, and bills of quantities.
Measuring quantities using drawings and specifications.
Valuing completed work and arranging payments.
Liaising with clients, contractors, and subcontractors.
Monitoring project progress and cost variations.
Performing site visits for inspections and measurements.
Supporting with the procurement of materials and subcontractors.
Skills Required:
Strong numerical and analytical skills.
Attention to detail.
Good communication and negotiation skills.
Knowledge of construction methods and legal regulations.
Teamwork and time management.
Qualifications:
A degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
CSCS card required
