They are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their team. Key Responsibilities
* Assisting senior QS and project teams with cost management, valuations, and reporting.
* Supporting procurement and subcontractor management activities.
* Assisting with measuring, pricing, and preparing tender and contract documentation.
* Monitoring project costs and budgets to support project profitability.
* Contributing to the preparation of interim and final accounts.
* Assisting with change management and variation claims.
* Ensuring compliance with company policies and health & safety standards.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
* A background in Quantity Surveying, Construction, or a related field.
* Previous experience working within a main contractor environment is preferred.
* Good understanding of construction processes, contracts, and pricing.
* Strong numeracy, communication, and organizational skills.
* A proactive attitude and willingness to learn and develop.
* Ambition to progress within a Tier 1 contractor.
