Assistant Quantity Surveyor - Fit-Out & Refurbishment
Glasgow | Full-Time, Permanent
£35,000 - £40,000

We're working with a highly respected contractor known for delivering high-quality fit-out and refurbishment projects across the commercial, leisure, retail, and heritage sectors. As part of their continued growth, they're looking to bring an ambitious Assistant Quantity Surveyor into the team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 2+ years' experience, or a final-year student already working for a contractor, looking to accelerate their QS career with hands-on project exposure and mentorship.
The Role:
Support the commercial team in managing project costs from tender to final account.
Assist with subcontractor procurement, valuations, and cost reporting.
Attend site visits and work closely with the delivery teams.
Help prepare and negotiate interim valuations and final accounts.
Gain exposure to projects ranging from £200K to £2M.
What We're Looking For:
Ideally 2+ years' experience with a main contractor or fit-out specialist.
Alternatively, final-year Quantity Surveying students with part-time contractor experience may be considered.
Confident communicator with solid commercial awareness.
Strong Excel and measurement skills.
Eager to learn and grow within a supportive, fast-paced environment.
